Judges 10 introduces two overlooked “heroes,” Tola and Jair, showing that whether you feel like a nobody or a somebody, God is the one who defines and uses you. Their stories remind us that God continues to show mercy—even after Israel’s repeated failures—by raising up unlikely rescuers. Ultimately, they point us to the greater Savior, Jesus, who was called a “worm,” rode in on a donkey, and secured true and lasting peace.
